W. E. B. Du Bois was born February 23, 1868, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts Deceased August 27th, 1963 in Accra, Ghana American Sociologist, Historian, Author, Editor, Activist and W. E. B. Du Bois was one of the most important Black protest leaders in the US during the first half of the 20th century. He was one of the creators of creation of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) 1909 He edited The Crisis a magazine from 1910 to 1934 W. E. B.
