Activist and W. E. B. Du Bois was one of the most important Black protest leaders in the US during the first half of the 20th century.
He was one of the creators of creation of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) 1909
He edited The Crisis a magazine from 1910 to 1934
W. E. B. Du Bois created a collection of essays The Souls of Black Folk (1903) which is a landmark of African American Literature
W. E. B. Du Bois graduated from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennesse in 1888 Historically Black Institution
He received a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1895.
