National Pig Day
National Pig Day is a holiday that is dedicated to the celebration of the pig. This holiday – which is celebrated on March 1st every year – is celebrated in most parts of the Midwest in the United States. It was originally started in 1972 in Lubbock, Texas by Ellen Stanley and Mary Lynne Rave. This holiday’s purpose is to honor a domesticated livestock species that is considered to be one of the most intellectual and important species. Camp Chateaugdy
David and I have been talking about letting Charlie attend a Summer Camp this year. We attended DFW Kids Directory Summer Camp Expo 2019 to see which camps were available Charlie might like visiting. The first table we visited was Camp Chateaugdy. As we walked through DFW Summer Camp Expo we saw information for Camp Chateaugay. We stopped to visit with the Staff and learn more about this camp. I liked leaning its a sleep-away camp. I found out Camp Chateaugay was in New York even though my daughter visited New York for me this is to far for Charlie to go at this time. Which doesn’t mean in the future…
