National Dark Chocolate Day – February 1, 2021
If you’re like Charlie and I, you don’t need a reason to celebrate Chocolate, but it sure is sweet to have one. Although, we prefer Milk Chocolate today is National Dark Chocolate Day. Making February 1 an opportunity for the health and happiness dark chocolate brings. In our Homeschooling Class Charlie and I will be hosting a Tasting Challenge to see if we can tell the difference between Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. Black History Month: Shirley Chisolm
Shirley Chisholm known for making History in 1972 when she became the first African American from a major political party to run for president. Shirley is the first Democratic woman of any race to do so. Chisholm’s presidential bid wasn’t her only accomplishment throughout her 80-year life.
