Tune into Reading
With Summer here I have been looking for new resources I can use this Summer to help Charlie continue to learn throughout the Summer. As I was searching I found a new site called Tune into Reading. Which I will be using because Tune into Reading which allows our children to sing as they learn to read. I believe Tune into Reading will help improve Charlies reading. I think Tune into Reading will help Charlie stay more focused and keep him from getting bored. Which causes Charlie to tune out what both me and the teachers are trying to teach him. Communication Is Key To Me
Communication has always been key to me in Charlies education. Which means either David or I make it a point to check in with Charlies teachers each week. So yesterday when I received Charlies progress report and he is failing it makes me furious. Especially when we are told Charlie is doing fine and that there is nothing we need to work on. So I always make sure all of his work is turned in. Then I check with them at least once a week to make sure they have everything they need. Then they send the progress note home.
