    “The Great Backyard Bird Count”

    The Great Backyard Bird Count Come join Charlie and I in the “The Great Backyard Bird Count” which we did last year. Only this year we are going to invite our friends and families to join us.  As Charlie and I  have decided to host a contest and see who finds the most Birds in there backyard and the winner will win a Gift Card and some fun coloring pages.     Scholastic: Listen and Read   Age Range: 4-9 (Grades K-4, with parental supervision) This resource from Scholastic is where you can enjoy 15 non-fiction, read-along books that are accompanied by images and audio narration. There are even activities and/or quizzes at the end of each book to help the reader review what has been learned.
