Homeschooling Music Class
Charlie and I love listening to Music and we like a variety of styles of music and singers. For our Homeschooling Music Class I picked up Country Music An Illustrated History published by Dayton Duncan at Walmart the other day. To keep Charlie from getting overwhelmed reading the book I have decided to break it down and into sections I will create Lesson Plans/ Unit Studies featuring this book. It can be like pulling teeth to get Charlie to read. Then other times I can not get Charlie to quit reading. Is it like this with your children? This week in Homeschooling Charlie has asked to watch the movie Wonder DVD and I am going to have Charlie read Wonder. Then Charlie can compare the movie to the book and do a report on the differences he noticed.
