I am leaning to not depend on Textbooks
I am learning not to depend on textbooks thanks to a class I took for Homeschooling created by Classes by Beth. WHich was part of the 2016 Digital Homeschool Convention. When Charlie and I first began Homeschooling the only thing I knew about was workbooks and a desk. Although since taking the class I have learned so much. I have learned I can have Charlie get up and move around and we can use things other than workbooks for school. Homeschooling with ADHD
Homeschooling with ADHD hits close to home because when my daughter Suzzane was younger, I homeschooled her as well. Suzzane also tested she had ADD and ADHD. Most days trying to teach Suzzane drove both of us to scream. Until my Ex and I finally broke down and put Suzzane in Sylvan Learning Center and it was the best thing for Suzzane as they understood the correct way to teach her math and reading.
