Mondays don’t always arrive quietly, but they always arrive. Even on days like today when I wish it was still Sunday and I could hide in my bed. Which doesn’t count when you have a family who never thinks you need your own space but its okay because at least I have them. Yesterday was Sunday which is Family Day for our family and the one day of the week we eat together. With Charlie and Bradley starting work tomorrow they rested most of the day and so did David who came home early because he wasn’t feeling well. Some days don’t look like much from the outside, but they carry more weight than people realize. Which is why I wanted to share Saturday Reflection: Small Wins, Slow Days and working hard to get back into the rhythm after being sick. Today was one of those quieter days for me. I took time away from the pressure of trying to “catch up” and just lived a little in the moment instead.
