For many years, I shared my journey through a website called The Mommies Reviews which I had started as a way to stay home with my son when he was first born. The blog started as a place where I could share products, ideas, and helpful information for families. I enjoyed testing and reviewing items, sharing my thoughts, and helping other moms discover things that could make everyday life a little easier. Including homeschooling information.

But over time, I realized something. My story had grown. My family had grown. Charlie is a grown man now not a little child. My life had changed. We’ve moved into our Townhome and now have different dogs and my brother lives with us. And my heart was being pulled toward something bigger because TheMommiesReviews.com didn’t feel right with all the changes we had faced.

That is how Greatful Moments began. Greatful Moments is not just a new name. It is a new chapter. It represents everything I have learned along the way — that the moments we often overlook are sometimes the ones we treasure the most. A family meal around the table. A conversation with someone new. A memory created with the people we love.

A recipe passed down. A prayer whispered during a difficult season. A simple moment that becomes a lifelong memory. Those are the things that matter to my family as we get older and family members are called home. Charlie struggles to find his place in this world we live in with work and bills he never thought about.

Why Greatful Moments?

Life is not always perfect. There are seasons of celebration and seasons of challenges. There are days filled with laughter and days when we have to slow down, grieve, and find our way again. Recently, our family experienced the loss of David’s dad. We have been reminded how precious time is and how important it is to hold onto the moments we have with the people we love.

That is what Greatful Moments is about. It is about finding gratitude even during difficult seasons. It is about recognizing the blessings around us. It is about sharing the real moments — not just the picture-perfect ones. It is about struggling and moving forward with the help of the LORD and our friends and family.
