April 3is National Burrito Day #NationalBurritoDay. I don’t know about you but National Burrito Day takes me back to my childhood in my Grandmother Dorie’s house when she would make Burrito’s for my siblings and I. She was my mom’s mom. My Grandmother’s Burrito’s was nothing fancy Hamburger Meat and Refried Beans on Flour Tortilla’s. She would make extra Meat and keep it in the Ice Box for us to make Burrito’s anytime we wanted. Campo Verde
This was the first year my family didn’t make it to Diamond Loch in Haltom City to see the Christmas Lights although we did go to Prairie Lights, Christmas in Texas and to ride The Waco Trolly I wasn’t ready for Christmas to end. I wanted to see more lights and celebrate this special time of year. A couple of weeks ago our next door neighbor Leslie Bradley’s mom asked if I would be able to pick Bradley up from school. Starting on Wednesday through Friday until 5:30. After talking to David about it, we decided it would be okay to pick him up. David should be here in the afternoons to help out with them. Last week we had Bradley over and needed to eat out.
