The Corner Cafe
David and I were running errands yesterday and we stopped for lunch at The Corner Cafe a restaurant we hadn’t had the opportunity to try before. We pulled into the Strip Shopping Center they are in. There was parking in the front of the restaurant and the side of the building. Walking inside is a waiting area with a bench I was able to sit down on when David paid our bill. I loved how open the restaurant was. Everything was clean and bright. All the staff was very friendly. Throughout the room was signs with there Desserts and Appetizers on the Board. Luby’s has been a party of my life for as far back as I can remember. My mom, my sister and I even worked for Luby’s at Nort Hills Mall before the Mall was closed. When David and I began to date and I become pregnant with Charlie David would take me her to get Fried Fish which I needed with Vegetables David wouldn’t eat. Charlie loved being able to get a child’s plate with Double Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. Neighborhood Cafe
The other day David and I were out in Hurst, Texas running errands and we were running out of time. We had to hurry and get home so David could get ready for work. But David offered to take me to lunch and I mentioned the Buttermilk Cafe or the Neighborhood Cafe. David didn’t tell me which one he was going to but pulled into the parking lot with the Neighborhood Cafe, I was excited because I knew I would be able to get a old Fashioned Breakfast.
