Monday January 16th, Martin Luther King Day
Charlie returns to school tomorrow and I wanted to make sure I had things Charlie could practice so he is ready for school. As I looked at the calendar this evening I noticed Monday January 16th is Martin Luther King. As soon as I saw it was Martin Luther King Birthday I knew I wanted to find resources and books Charlie would be able to use to learn about Martin Luther King Jr for Charlie. I can get Charlie to complete book reports giving Charlie a chance to practice his handwriting and spelling. Charlie Is Not Wanting To Read At Home
Charlie’s teachers are fussing with Charlie on his reading. Which is upsetting me. I don’t see them helping Charlie the way I think they should. Tomorrow we have to go to the school to find out what is going on in reading and math. Before I do that I plan on sitting down and talking to Charlie which will not do me any good to go to school if things do not change at home.
