MAC McANALLY DELIVERS A HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO THE LEGENDARY JIMMY BUFFETT AT THE 57TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS, SHARING THE STAGE WITH AN ICONIC GROUP OF BUFFETT’S FRIENDS KENNY CHESNEY, ALAN JACKSON AND ZAC BROWN BAND
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 9, 2023) – Last night, at the 57th Annual CMA Awards, the illustrious singer/songwriter, musician and producer Mac McAnally graced the awards stage alongside celebrated artists Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and Zac Brown Band to pay homage to the beloved late Jimmy Buffett. Together, Chesney and McAnally delivered a heartfelt rendition of Buffett’s classic hit, “A Pirate Looks at Forty.” This iconic song, both written and performed by Buffett, made its debut on his 1974 album, A-1-A.
