Charlie and I finally had a nice long talk about school this year and what he would like to get out of 4th grade. As well as how scared Charlie is that he will fall behind in the work they are doing. Free Summer Reading Programs
From as far back as I can remember I have always taken my children to the library in the Summer to sign up for Free Summer Reading Programs they host each Summer. After I finish signing the kids up I also sign myself up because I want to show the kids I read. The other day to get us registered we visited the Haltom City Library. We left the library, I brought home a list of other libraries offering Free Summer Reading Programs.
