“Lights, Camera … Christmas”
There are traditions or events that have been around all of our lives. For me that is the Fort Worth Stock Show which happens at the end of December beginning of January and the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Fort Worth, Texas. As a child I remember my dad rushing home from work on the Friday after Thanksgiving getting everyone together including my grandparents. We would climb aboard the City Bus the T and head into Downtown Fort Worth. We would stop at Leonard’s Department Store and head down to the basement to look at all of the Toys and watch the Train. Speedway Children’s Charities
Last night my family was able to attend the Tree Lighting and Fireworks Ceremony at Texas Motor Speedway for there Children’s Charity event. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend this event I would like to invite you out next year. Through there Children’s Charity they was able to donate over 100 bikes to children in need as well a donate funds to local organization’s. Including a Wish with Wings who received a check from Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas for $55,000 so they can keep making wishes come true for kids with life-threatening diseases!
