Welcome to Day 24 Song of the Day Challenge: A Song By A Band You Wish Was Still Together. I chose a song by “Alabama Angels Among Us” which was played at my grandmothers funeral. But Alabama retired in 2002. “Angels Among Us” is a song written by Don Goodman and Becky Hobbs and recorded by the American country music band Alabama. The song was released in December 1993 as a Christmas single from the band’s 1993 album Cheap Seats. It charted twice on the Hot Country Songs charts. I was getting ready to work on the blog this morning when I was looking around my house. I took the time to thank the Lord for my home, my friends and my family.
