Students in 3rd grade will work on Handwriting and Spelling. They need to especially for Charlies because his handwriting and spelling are horrible. Once again “God” opened up a new door for me and a friend let me know I could find these resources on Facebook to help Charlie out with as well as our friends as I plan on sharing the items I find with them. Reading Homework Nate Rocks the World (Volume 1) For reading it is required that we read for at least 15 minutes a night. And to record it on our reading log. And last year it was 20 minutes. And since that is what Charlie is used to I have kept it at 20 minutes. As he likes to bounce around during reading and this way he might actually read for 15 minutes. As Charlie begins 3rd Grade they are learning Cursive. And this week Charlie is working on the letter i, t, e, l,u, w,. And they have a full week to complete the worksheets. So with Charlie I have him complete one row a night. This way he doesn’t get to overwhelmed as he has other work to do. Including reading for 15 minutes a night.
