Homeschool Field Trip: Texas Civil War Museum
In our Homeschool History Class this week Charlie and I will be taking a Field Trip to the Texas Civil War Musuem which will be permanently closed December 30, 2023. Would you like to come with us? I know David will enjoy visiting her and we can stop for lunch afterwards in an area we haven’t visited. before. The mission of the Texas Civil War Museum is to collect and preserve artifacts relating to the history of the American Civil War and the role Texas played in the conflict. February celebrates Black History Month. This is an annual observance originating in the United States. I would like to let you know not only is February referred to Black History Month but also African-American History Month. Black History Month has received official recognition from governments in the US and Canada. Even being recognized in Ireland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
