Today marks the beginning of a brand-new journey for me and for Greatful Moments. For me this challenge is about more than taking pictures or recording videos—it’s about learning, growing, and capturing the everyday moments that make life special. It’s going to help me become a better influencer and give me the opportunity to make new friends as we share video’s with each other.
This afternoon I was walking through the living room and stumbled over my Fratire Air Fryer and walked into the kitchen to find something to eat. I opened in the freezer and saw my TGI Fridays Potato Skins and I knew I needed to review my Fratire Air Fryer, I received for a review. I decided I would do a video review which turned out to be a hot mess. But I tried and that is why I created the Sky’s the Limit Challenge.
Today’s video isn’t that long, and I’ll be honest—it isn’t perfect. I’m still learning how to hold the camera on my phone steady, improve my lighting, edit my videos, and create content for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and my blog. My home looks lived in because it is. This isn’t a television studio—it’s my real kitchen, where our family cooks, laughs, and makes memories.
I could have waited until I knew everything about making videos, but then I might never have started. Instead, I’m inviting you to join me from the very beginning so we can learn and grow together. I’m over 60 years old, and instead of saying, “I’m too old to learn something new,” I’ve decided this is the perfect time to learn. Every video will teach me something. Every photo will help me become a better photographer. Every story will help me become a better storyteller and influencer.
Today’s video is both a product review and the first step of this challenge. In this review, I’m sharing the packaging of the TGI Fridays Potato Skins and the box the Fritaire Air Fryer came in sharing my honest thoughts about the packaging and I will also have a full review sharing they cooked, how they tasted, the texture, and whether I’d purchase them again while also sharing my thoughts on the Air Fryer.
Here at Greatful Moments, you’ll find honest product reviews, easy recipes, family stories, encouragement, community events, money-saving ideas, faith, and all the little moments that make everyday life meaningful. If things happen the way I’m hopping they will Charlie and David may join me in the challenge as well which Charlie will be able to use in his Streaming Company.
This challenge isn’t about having the best camera or creating perfect videos.
Use your phone.
Use a camera.
Use a video camera.
Whatever you have is enough. Every day, I’ll be sharing one short video that tells a story. Some days it may be family, food, flowers, faith, community events, back-to-school memories, product reviews, recipes, pets, or simply an ordinary moment that made me smile. I’d love for you to join me. Whether you’re cleaning out your camera roll, practicing your photography, learning to create videos, or simply looking for a reason to notice the beauty in everyday life, this challenge is for you.
Together we’ll celebrate our progress one step at a time just like the little Engine who could, and we will encourage one another, and grow our confidence as creators—one story, one memory, and one video at a time. Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today and for being here at the very beginning. I hope that one day we’ll look back at this first video together and smile at how far we’ve come.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments:
