This post is part of the Greatful Moments Christmas Gift Guide/Wish List.
When I think about Christmas shopping, I always look for gifts that people can actually use especially David and Charlie. When giving #gifts I love finding something a little gift that is different from the usual gifts, especially when there is a story behind the company and the people who created it.
As David and Charlie get older, finding gifts for the guys in my family can mean looking beyond the traditional Christmas presents and discovering everyday essentials they might enjoy using throughout the year. But then its also hard because if they want something they will purchase it for themselves. I’ve finally found a new Gift they will not be expecting.
That’s why I was interested when Brodie Bates, founder of BK Ranch Reserve, reached out to introduce his company’s personal-care products. He had taken the time to look at our family’s body-wash reviews and thought his Hand & Body Wash might be something we’d want to explore.
After learning more about the company, I discovered something else that caught my attention. BK Ranch Reserve was inspired by a family cattle ranch outside Graham, Texas. You know how much I enjoy discovering places in Texas and finding ideas for day trips with my family. When I first saw Graham mentioned, I had to stop and think, “Hmm, where exactly is Graham?”
It turns out Graham is approximately 90 minutes west of Fort Worth, depending on your route and traffic. That makes it a place I’d like to learn more about when we’re planning future family outings. But today, we’re starting with something a little closer to home: personal-care products that could make useful Christmas gifts.
BK Ranch Reserve is a personal-care brand inspired by the founders’ family ranch near Graham, Texas. The company brings that ranch connection into a collection of everyday essentials designed for the bathroom counter and shower. The product collection includes Hand & Body Wash, Cleanse Shampoo I would like to try, Hydrate Conditioner, Shave Gel Charlie would like to try, Hydrating Moisturiser, and Ocean Mist styling spray.
What makes the story interesting is that the products are made in Australia, while the inspiration comes from the family’s Texas ranch. BK Wash House LLC distributes the products from Dallas, Texas. A hoop skip and a jump from my home in North Richland Hills. You can learn more about the company and explore its collection at BK Ranch Reserve.
The first product Brodie has offered to send our family to try is the BK Ranch Reserve Hand & Body Wash. This is a 500 ml bottle, equivalent to approximately 16.9 fluid ounces, and retails for $24. The wash is infused with essential oils of cedarwood, lavender, and lemon. According to the company, it is designed to cleanse the skin while helping maintain its natural moisture balance. The formula is intended for everyday use and all skin types.
The scent combination caught my attention because it brings together three different aromatic notes: the woody character of cedarwood, the familiar floral aroma of lavender, and the fresh citrus scent of lemon. Of course, a product description can only tell us so much. What really matters to me is how a product works when someone uses it in everyday life.
That’s why I appreciate opportunities to try products with David and Charlie. We can look beyond the packaging and talk about the things that matter when choosing something for our home. You can find the product details, directions, and complete ingredient list on the official Hand & Body Wash page.
While exploring the website, I also discovered the Ranch House Shower Set. This set brings together three products for a complete shower routine:Hand & Body Wash — 500 ml– The daily-use wash featuring cedarwood, lavender, and lemon essential oils. Cleanse Shampoo — 250 ml A shampoo designed for everyday hair care. Hydrate Conditioner — 250 ml– A conditioner that completes the three-product shower set.
The Ranch House Shower Set retails for $62. According to the company, purchasing the set saves $6 compared with buying the three products separately. For someone who enjoys personal-care products, a set like this could be an option to consider when shopping for a husband, son, dad, brother, or another family member who appreciates practical gifts.
The company also advertises free standard shipping on eligible U.S. orders of $50 or more after discounts and before tax. Shipping eligibility and terms can change, so check the website for current details. You can explore the Ranch House Shower Set here. And if you’re shopping for someone who prefers choosing products individually, the BK Ranch Reserve collection offers additional options.
One thing I like about practical gifts is that they don’t have to be put away after the holidays. A personal-care product can become part of someone’s ordinary morning or evening routine. Instead of receiving something that sits on a shelf, the recipient has an everyday essential to use at home.
That makes grooming products worth considering when you’re putting together a Christmas gift list. They can be useful for family members who don’t necessarily need another decorative item but would appreciate something they can incorporate into their daily routine.
And if you’re shopping for someone who enjoys trying new brands, learning the story behind a product can make the gift feel a little more personal. For me, that Texas connection is part of what made BK Ranch Reserve stand out. The brand was inspired by a family ranch near Graham, even though the products themselves are manufactured in Australia. It’s a reminder that sometimes a company’s story begins in one place and finds its way into everyday life somewhere else.
Brodie has offered to send our family the Hand & Body Wash so we can try it for ourselves. I’m looking forward to seeing how it works for our household. As with our other family product features, I want to share our honest experience rather than simply repeat a company’s description.
Once the product arrives and we’ve had time to use it, we’ll be able to share our own thoughts about its scent, lather, rinsing, and how it feels during everyday use. Until then, the product information in this article comes from the company’s website. We haven’t yet formed our own opinion of the wash, and I don’t want to tell you how it performs before we’ve tried it.
If you’re interested in learning more in the meantime, visit BK Ranch Reserve to explore the products and their published ingredients and directions. Again, I couldn’t help noticing that Graham is about 90 minutes west of Fort Worth. Since our family enjoys day trips, that gives me another place to keep in mind when we’re looking for somewhere new to explore.
Graham has a historic downtown square, local shops, museums, and other attractions for visitors. The official Visit Graham website is a good place to start if you’d like to learn more about the community. We haven’t visited BK Ranch, and I don’t want to suggest that the ranch is open to visitors. But I do enjoy learning about the places and stories behind the businesses I discover.
Maybe one day we’ll make a family outing to Graham and explore the town for ourselves. For now, I’m happy to have discovered a Texas-inspired brand to introduce to our readers.

I’m always grateful, thankful and blessed when a company takes the time to reach out and introduce itself to Greatful Moments. I enjoy discovering new products, learning the stories behind them, and finding ideas that might help my readers with their own families and gift lists.
For now, BK Ranch Reserve is a brand I’m looking forward to getting to know better. Brodie is sending our family the Hand & Body Wash to try, and once we’ve had a chance to use it, I’ll be able to share more about our experience. Unless David or Charlie take it.
Until then, I’ll be adding the Ranch House Shower Set to my own Christmas wish list as we help Santa load the sleigh! I will be asking him to bring it to me or to let Charlie and David know this is what I would like for Christmas. As well as a Trip to the Town to look around
Because sometimes the best gifts are the ones we can enjoy together, and sometimes discovering something new is part of the fun. Here at Greatful Moments, we’re always looking for ways to be Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed, one family moment at a time.
