Welcome to Day 2 of November as we get closer to Thanksgiving I wanted to help you prepare for Christmas which is getting closer. Today we’re continuing our journey around North Texas! Yesterday, we visited Grapevine, and today we’re making stops in Hurst, Euless, and Bedford which is just a hop, skip and a jump from my home in North Richland Hills. Check out the events I’ve shared with you and let me know which one you would like to attend.
One of my families favorite things about this time of year is discovering all the little ways communities celebrate Christmas. Sometimes it’s a big tree lighting, sometimes it’s a neighborhood filled with Christmas lights, and sometimes it’s finding a little coffee shop serving something special that tastes like the holidays.
And let’s not forget the local restaurants, mom-and-pop shops, and family-owned businesses that help make our communities special. So grab your Christmas list, your favorite beverage and a jacket because in Fort Worth we never know what the weather might bring. Then grab your favorite people and let’s see what Hurst, Euless, and Bedford have planned for the 2026 holiday season!

Making Christmas Memories Around Hurst, Euless & Bedford
One thing I love about exploring North Texas is discovering how every community celebrates Christmas a little differently.
From handmade gifts in Hurst to the Parade of Lights in Euless and the reindeer and drone show in Bedford, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the holiday season without having to travel far from home.
And let’s not forget those little coffee shops and restaurants!
Whether you’re treating yourself to a pumpkin spice latte, trying a peppermint white mocha, enjoying a plate of pasta, or stopping for a family breakfast, supporting local businesses is another way to celebrate the communities we call home.
I always encourage families to remember their local small businesses when shopping for Christmas gifts. Those mom-and-pop shops, local makers, restaurants, and family-owned businesses are part of what makes our communities special.
You don’t have to spend a fortune to make Christmas memories, either. A free neighborhood light display, a letter to Santa, or an evening listening to Christmas music can be just as meaningful.
We’re continuing our journey around North Texas, one community at a time, discovering places to shop, celebrate, eat, and make memories together.
Until our next stop, remember to be Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed!
