As I was working this morning I was shaking my head because Halloween is almost here. Can you believe it? If you’re looking for family-friendly activities around Fort Worth, the DFW Car & Toy Museum has another event to add to your Halloween weekend plans!
We recently shared information about Halloween on the Midway, an event featured on a postcard we received from the museum. Now we’re highlighting other Halloween events on the museum’s calendar: Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 31.
Whether your family loves dressing up, collecting candy, or simply enjoying Halloween activities together, this is an event worth checking out.
Trunk-or-Treat Event Details
Event: Trunk-or-Treat at the DFW Car & Toy Museum
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
Time: 5 p.m.–7 p.m.
Location: DFW Car & Toy Museum
Address: 2550 McMillan Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76137
For the latest information, visit the museum’s official Trunk-or-Treat event page.
What Can Families Expect?– According to the museum’s event announcement, families can look forward to:
- Halloween costumes and trick-or-treating
- Candy
- Activities for children
- Four-legged family members dressed in their Halloween costumes
The event is planned for the museum parking lot and wraps up at 7 p.m., leaving families time to continue their Halloween celebrations afterward.
The museum is also inviting volunteers to participate by decorating their vehicles and handing out candy. Volunteers must provide their own candy and decorations. If you’d like to volunteer, the museum has provided a volunteer registration form. Please review the instructions before signing up. If only I could get Charlie or David to let me turn my car into a Halloween decoration but that isn’t going to happen.
The official event listing provides the date, time, and activities, but I haven’t confirmed whether admission is free for attendees or whether advance registration is required. Please check the museum’s official event page or contact the museum before heading out so you can confirm the latest details. You can also visit the DFW Car & Toy Museum website to learn more about the museum and its collection of cars and toys.
The museum has another Halloween listing for October 31: Halloween Costumes at the Museum & Meet The Munsters Dragula Coffin Dragster!. Be sure to check that listing separately for details about the Dragula event. You can also read our companion feature about Halloween on the Midway at the DFW Car & Toy Museum.
I love sharing local events that give families opportunities to spend time together and make Halloween memories. The DFW Car & Toy Museum has several activities on its calendar this season, so it’s worth keeping an eye on its upcoming events if you enjoy cars, toys, and family-friendly fun.
Have you visited the DFW Car & Toy Museum? Have you attended one of its special events? I’d love to hear about your experience! As always, confirm the details with the organizer before making plans. We want our readers to have the information they need to enjoy their Halloween weekend.
Greatful Moments — Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
