Disclosure: We received a postcard in the mail from the DFW Car & Toy Museum inviting us to Halloween on the Midway. We’re sharing the information with our readers, but we have not attended this event.
Halloween weekend is almost here, and I always enjoy discovering local events that give families something different to do. Recently, a postcard arrived in our mailbox from the DFW Car & Toy Museum inviting us to Halloween on the Midway. I thought it sounded intriguing enough to share with our Greatful Moments readers!
David would certainly appreciate the opportunity to see more than 200 cars, and the museum’s collection of 3,000 toys sounds like something that could interest both David and Charlie. Add in a costume contest, carnival games, and midway fun, and there are several reasons families might want to learn more.

Before You Make Plans, Please Check With the Museum
Although we received a postcard inviting us to Halloween on the Midway, I haven’t been able to confirm whether this event is open to the general public or whether it is a private event for invited guests.
The postcard mentions an RSVP, but I haven’t confirmed the admission arrangements, whether there is a ticket charge, or whether an invitation covers additional family members.
Before heading out, please contact the museum directly to confirm the event details and any admission or registration requirements. You can visit the official DFW Car & Toy Museum website for more information.
More Halloween Fun at the DFW Car & Toy Museum: The museum also has other Halloween activities listed for Saturday, October 31, 2026, including: Halloween Costumes at the Museum & Meet The Munsters Dragula Coffin Dragster! Trunk-or-Treat at the DFW Car and Toy Museum, scheduled for 5 p.m.–7 p.m. These are separate events, so check each official listing for its own details before attending.
I love learning about local attractions and events that give families another reason to get out, explore, and make memories together. With its collection of cars and toys, the DFW Car & Toy Museum certainly sounds like a place worth learning more about, especially for families who enjoy automobiles, collectibles, and Halloween activities.
Have you visited the DFW Car & Toy Museum before? I’d love to hear about your experience!
As always, please verify event information with the organizer before making plans. I don’t want to guess about admission or RSVP requirements and accidentally steer anyone wrong. But what I do know is this is one place David and Charlie are excited to visit. If we had been #Homeschooling still we would have come for a Field Trip.
If you love #Comics as much as David does the #Flinestones have arrived…. At times they have #Scooby-Doo which David wants to see as well.
Wishing you a Halloween weekend filled with fun, family, and plenty of reasons to be grateful!
Greatful Moments — Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
