A Clay Walker Family Christmas: A Little Music for Our Christmas Wish List

Music is something that has always been a big part of my families lives. I’ve always loved Clay Walker’s music and David has to.I wanted to remind you the best Christmas gifts aren’t things we unwrap. Sometimes they’re the things we gather around and enjoy together.

And this year, I think our Christmas Wish List needs a little more music. When I heard that Clay Walker was releasing A Clay Walker Family Christmas, I immediately thought this sounded like something I would love to have playing in our home during the Christmas season.

But what really caught my attention wasn’t simply that Clay Walker was releasing a Christmas album. It’s that he made it with his family which reminded me of the Partridge family. A Clay Walker Family Christmas is scheduled to be released November 6, 2026, and brings Clay, his wife Jessica, and their five children together for a collection of Christmas favorites. The children range in age from 5 to 18, and several of them have their own moments singing on the album.

That makes this feel like more than just another Christmas record. It sounds like a family memory that happened to be recorded. Clay Walker himself described the experience as something he is incredibly grateful for, saying the memories made while creating the album will last forever. And honestly, isn’t that what so much of Christmas is about? The memories. The traditions. The things we do together year after year that eventually become the stories we tell.

What’s on the Album?

The album includes 11 songs, including some Christmas favorites that most of us will recognize:

  • “Jingle Bell Rock”
  • “Frosty the Snowman”
  • “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”
  • “Feliz Navidad”
  • “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem”
  • “All I Want for Christmas Is You”
  • “All Wrapped Up in You”
  • “Please Come Home for Christmas”
  • “Holly Jolly Christmas”
  • “Little Drummer Boy”
  • “O Little Town of Bethlehem (The Christmas Story)”

The album is produced by Keith Stegall, and it includes both traditional Christmas favorites and a new song, “All Wrapped Up in You.” I’m going to be honest. When I think about Christmas, I think about the things that make a house feel like Christmas. The decorations come out. The lights go up.

We start thinking about Christmas baking and gifts and family. And somewhere along the way, I want Christmas music playing in the background. That’s why I think A Clay Walker Family Christmas would make a fun addition to our Christmas collection. And because the album was made with his wife and children, I especially like the idea of listening to it with our own family.

There is something different about knowing you’re listening to a family that was making these memories together while recording the songs. Maybe someday their children will hear this album years from now and remember being young and recording Christmas songs with their dad. Those are the kinds of Christmas memories money can’t buy.

And Santa, If You’re Listening…

, I’m putting A Clay Walker Family Christmas on our Greatful Moments Christmas Gift Guide Wish List. Santa, if you’re looking for something to put under the tree for us this year, how about a little Christmas music? Because once the Christmas tree is up, I want something playing in the background.
