When God Sends a Prince Your Way: A Faith Connection for Greatful Moments

Sometimes the most meaningful connections are the ones we never went looking for

Sometimes we receive news we wasn’t expecting so to keep my mind busy even though there is a movie I wanted to watch I work. That is what I was doing this afternoon when I began to go through a email account I’ve been neglecting that had several opportunities for the Gift Gide.

I started responding to the emails and before I could get through them I was recieing answer back with is a Godwink. If you’ve been following Greatful Moments for any length of time, you know that my faith is at the heart of everything I do. My tagline is Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed, and I believe God can bring people into our lives in ways we never could have planned ourselves.

Sometimes, those connections arrive when we least expect them. Sometimes, we look back and wonder how two people ever crossed paths in the first place. And sometimes, all I can say is, “Lord, I see You working here.” That’s how I felt when Prince Henry 843 reached out to me.

I didn’t go searching for him. I wasn’t looking for a Christian artist to feature, and I certainly wasn’t trying to arrange a special connection for my family. He reached out to Greatful Moments not TheMommeisReviews and that meant more to me than you will ever know.

He introduced himself, and shared a little about his music, his testimony, and the merchandise he has created out of his faith. As I read his message, I realized that there was an opportunity here to do more than talk about a product. There was an opportunity to get to know a person, hear his story, and perhaps encourage someone else along the way. And if you know me, you know that kind of opportunity means something to me.

Being a mom doesn’t end when our children grow up. If anything, there are seasons when we find ourselves praying even harder, hoping that the lessons we’ve tried to teach them will stay close to their hearts as they make their way through life and that is where I am with Charlie.

Charlie is turning 19 this Christmas. He’s a young man with his own interests, his own personality, and his own walk with the Lord. Like anybody else, he has seasons when life can feel difficult. As his mom, I want him to know that he can always turn to God, even when he doesn’t have all the answers.

One thing that makes me smile is knowing that Charlie carries his Bible in the side of his car as he drives around town. That might seem like a small detail to somebody else, but to me, it’s a reminder of how important faith is in our family. We all have our own ways of keeping God close as we navigate the world around us. Because Suzzane’s Bible was kept in her locker at school.

And that brings me back to this unexpected connection. Prince Henry’s message spoke about his testimony, his music, and the meaning behind the merchandise he creates. He shared that his song “Jesus Saved My Life” and the messages on his clothing come from his faith.

I haven’t heard his entire testimony yet, and I look forward to learning more. But I appreciate that he wants to share his story and that he’s willing to talk about the role Jesus plays in his life. Sometimes, we don’t know what another person is going through. We don’t know what encouragement they might need or how a conversation might affect them. That’s one reason I believe stories matter. We may never know who needs to hear a reminder that hope is still possible.

Now, if you know my family, you might understand why his name made me smile even more. My son Charlie goes by TTKL ie King, and in our family, he is certainly one of my princes. My beloved daughter Suzzane was my princess. Her memory remains a precious part of our family story, and butterflies have become a special reminder of her.

So here I am, a mom who has a prince and a princess in her heart, and along comes a Christian artist named Prince Henry. You couldn’t make up a family connection like that if you tried! Move over Oprah and take Buttercup with you because I have my own family of Royalty here.

I’m not saying I know exactly why our paths crossed. I don’t pretend to understand everything God is doing behind the scenes. But I do know that this unexpected connection made me stop, smile, and think about how God can bring people into our lives when we aren’t even looking for them.

For me, that’s what makes this feel like a God moment. It wasn’t something I planned. It wasn’t a person I went searching for. He reached out to Greatful Moments, and now I’m looking forward to learning more about his journey and to check out his clothes and merchandise.

Prince Henry is based in Sulphur Springs, Texas, which is approximately 111–113 miles by road from Fort Worth, depending on the route. That puts him within the broader North Texas region, making this a potential connection for our readers who enjoy discovering small businesses and creative people from around Texas.

At Greatful Moments, I want to share more than products. I want to introduce readers to the people behind them, especially those whose work reflects something meaningful in their lives. Small businesses are often built around a person’s experiences, interests, hopes, and determination. In Prince Henry’s case, faith is part of the story he wants to tell.

I’m looking forward to learning more about how his testimony inspired his music, what led him to create his merchandise, and what he hopes people take away from the messages he shares. As we prepare for our upcoming Greatful Moments small-business giveaway, I’m also excited about the possibility of introducing readers to more local businesses and creators.

Prince Henry has expressed interest in participating, and we’re discussing what he might be able to contribute. Our planned giveaway period is November 1–15, 2026, with participation limited to the Dallas–Fort Worth area and surrounding communities. Keeping the giveaway local will help us make the prize practical to deliver without placing an unreasonable shipping expense on the winner.

We’re still working through the details, so I don’t want to announce a prize or promise participation before everything is confirmed. But I’m grateful that he is open to the conversation, and I’m excited about the possibility of including his work. For me, this is another way Greatful Moments can help readers discover people and businesses they might not otherwise have encountered. And perhaps someone will discover a message, a song, or a product that means something special to them.

I keep coming back to the fact that I didn’t go looking for this connection oor any of the other local connections I’ve been making this week which makes me even more Grateful, Thankful and Blessed for this new site and what the LORD is bringing into my families lives.

Prince Henry reached out to Greatful Moments, and his message opened the door to a conversation about faith, family, music, and the things that inspire us to keep going. As a mom, I pray for Charlie. I pray that he continues to grow in faith, that he finds encouragement when life gets difficult, and that he always remembers he can turn to the Lord.

As a mother who carries the memory of her daughter Suzzane in her heart, I also know that love, faith, and family connections can take on meanings that are difficult to explain to someone else. So when an unexpected connection comes along involving a Christian artist named Prince Henry, I can’t help but smile at the little royal connection in our family.

Maybe this will lead to a wonderful feature. Maybe it will introduce our readers to a small business they will love. Maybe it will become part of our November giveaway. We’ll see where the Lord and this conversation leads my family and yes, that includes David.

For now, I’m grateful, thankful and blessed that he reached out to my family, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn about his story, and grateful that Greatful Moments gives me a place to share these unexpected moments with you. Because I believe that when we keep our hearts open to God, sometimes the most meaningful things begin with a simple hello. And sometimes, you just have to smile and say, “Lord, I see You.”

Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed.
