Ultimate Blog Challenge 2016 Day 13

Welcome to the Ultimate Blog Challenge. In the Ultimate Blog Challenge we are on Day #13. Yes, you heard me right Day #13 can you believe we are half way through the challenge. I am going to succeed this time and finish the challenge on time. I am so PROUD of myself.

Today I just thought I would share somethings I am involved in and my new logo for the blog. What do you think about it? Elle Emme from LM Solutions designed it for Charlie, David and I.

The Mommies Reviews

For those of you that don’t know me I am Glenda Cates. You will see my face a lot as I am the Creator of The Mommies Reviews. I reside in Haltom City ( a suburb of (Fort Worth and Dallas Texas.)

If you were to ask me what makes Glenda Cates tick I would have to say it is my family. David, and Charlie are my world and also Suzzane. I love them more than anything. Along with my sister and her family. My dad and brother and also Davids family.

I love the color purple and also pink. I am a avid reader and I read each and every day. I hated school and can tell you lots of stories about when I attended if you would like to listen.

My passion in life is love helping others. Through the events I host in Fort Worth/ Dallas. Or the events my friends host as I help them run there events. As well as work with local business.

I have one puppy and her name is Sandi. Sandi is a Black and White Rat Terrior. Sandi is named after the movie Grease and she isn’t a dog. Sandi thinks she is a person.

I still hang out with the people I went to school with and they are some of my best friends and have been since we was in 2nd grade. I hope once Charlie grows up he is able to remain friends with his school mates like David and I did.

Second in charge on The Mommies Reviews is Charlie, Charlies aka Wiggles or the Editor, Boss, Blogger, President or what ever else you think of. If you ask Charlie he would say this Blog is his and he created it.

Now mind you I did start it to be able to stay home with him so I guess he could be right and say it is his. Charlie is all boy bikes, cars, and Scooters. Anything to make me scared and scream. Including bringing me a dead Rat when he was 2.

Charlie is obsessed with Frogs and keeps them in my shower. Charlie can be the sweetest little boy and 2 seconds later your ready to kill him. But I wouldn’t change him for a million dollars.

Charlie loves Music and likes to Dance. We spend a lot of time at the Park or coloring. Charlie loves shoes, and clothes. Along with helping me take pictures for the blog. More than that Charlie loves his daddy. Charlie has 3 dogs a Great Pernese and White Lab Thor, Lucy a Chi Weenie and Max who is Lucy’s son and a Mutt.

David Cates is the quiet face behind the blog and Charlie and my greatest supporter. I would not have this Blog without David as he keeps me going when I want to throw in the towel. He has been a part of my life since I was 16 years old. But we have only been married since 2006. David loves old cars and any type of tools.

David pushes dirt for a living at a concrete truck company. He is a Redneck and a true momma’s boy. But David is a true gentleman through and through.

If you need something David will do it if he can. David still has the friends he made in high school and likes hanging out with them. David likes playing games and would love a Motorcycle. Like Charlie and I David loves the water. But hates vegetables and will not eat them ever. David doesn’t have any pets of his own as he helps take care of mine and Charlies.

So in a Nutshell as we are all Nuts but this is the Faces behind The Mommies Reviews grab your favorite beverage and take a look around. If you have any questions Please just ask as we would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

As for me I m going to grab a bottle of water and hit the pool then I will be back to walk. Once I am done I will be grabbing me a Glass of Sweet Tea then sitting down to work on the blog. While Charlie plays cars and wrestling and David watches TV. Until Charlie decides its time to hit the park then we will be gone. Because making memories with Charlie is what it is all about.

Good evening and being sick stinks. As it seems all I have done is sleep, sleep and more sleep. So I am way behind in this challenge. But I am not going to give up and I am working hard to catch up.
