I was working on my Grace by Grace Room by Room project yesterday and ended up cleaning off my desk. While moving things around I found a lamp David had set up for me to use when he moved me upstairs.

This lamp should have been something I immediately began to use but instead it gt buried on my desk. But after discovering it I’ve been using it more than the big light in the bedroom.

I wanted to remind you I didn’t go out looking for a lamp and come home thinking, Well, I guess I’ll find somewhere to put this. No. This lamp found its way onto my pink desk, and honestly, it looks like it was made to be there. I just wish Suzzane was here to see everything because she would have loved it.

Now, let’s talk about this little lamp. It’s kind of an unusual shape. The base is almost square, and the lamp itself has a space underneath it that I really like. You can actually slide your hand into that space, but it’s also useful because you can put little things there.

Pencils. Post-it notes. Small desk supplies. Whatever little things tend to wander around your desk. And because the lamp doesn’t take up a huge amount of room, it works especially well on a smaller desk.

That’s important to me. I don’t need something enormous taking over my workspace. I need something that gives me plenty of light without eating up the entire desk. And this lamp is bright. Very bright.

It’s one of those little lamps that makes you realize just how much difference a good light can make when you’re working. There’s a button on the side that has different colors around it, and that’s part of what gives the lamp its modern look.

The lamp also moves up and down, so you can adjust the position of the light. It has a sort of moon-like appearance when it’s lit, and there’s a mirror-like surface on the front and another one on the opposite side.

It’s a little hard to explain until you see it. It’s definitely not your ordinary old-fashioned desk lamp. And that’s one of the reasons I like it. Buttercup. There is one thing about the lamp that makes me go… Huh?

The light is very bright, but it’s not a bulb where I’m sitting here thinking, Oh, I’ll just replace the bulb with a different color when I want to. I honestly don’t know what happens when the light eventually goes out or whether the light itself can be replaced.

That’s one of those questions I still have. But right now? It’s working just fine. And I’m enjoying it. Actually, there’s something else that makes me smile every time I look at it.It’s pink.

And it looks really good sitting on my pink desk. And my pink desk was given to me. And my pink gaming chair was given to me, too. So apparently, I’ve got a little pink workspace happening over here.

And maybe someday I’ll do a complete review of the whole setup. But today isn’t that day, Buttercup. Today we’re talking about the lamp. And what I really like about it is that it isn’t just something pretty sitting on my desk.

It actually has a purpose. It gives me a lot of light. It doesn’t take up much space. It has that little storage area underneath. It can move up and down. And it adds a little personality to my workspace.

Sometimes that’s all you need. A little light. A little organization. And something that makes you smile when you sit down to work. That’s especially important when your desk is where you spend a lot of your day.

I spend plenty of time working, writing, planning, and creating. So if I’m going to sit at my desk, I want the space around me to make me happy. And this little pink lamp does that because it is Charlie and Suzzane’s favorite color pink.

It reminds me that our workspaces don’t have to be boring. They can have personality. They can have color. They can have things that make us smile. And sometimes something as simple as a pink lamp can make a desk feel a little more like your space.

So, would I recommend this lamp? Based on my experience with it, yes. Especially if you’re looking for something compact, bright, and a little different from a traditional desk lamp you will like it.

I like the small footprint. I like the storage space. I like being able to move the lamp up and down. And I definitely like the way it looks on my pink desk. I just wish I knew exactly what happens when that bright light eventually decides it has worked long enough!

That’s something I’m still going to have to investigate. Until then, though, I’m enjoying it. And every time I turn it on, I get a little reminder that sometimes the things we are given are more than just things.

Someone thought about me. Someone knew I would enjoy it. And now it has a place in my little pink workspace. So yes… It’s just a lamp. But it’s my pink lamp. And I’m grateful for it
