The Highwayman: Kris Kristofferson
I wanted to send my condolences to Kris Kristoferson’s family as he passed away on September 28, 2024. For me I remember hearing Mr. Kristofferson’s music as a child. More than that though I remember his performance in Convoy which is one of my families favorite movies. As well as a Star is Born.
Kris Kristofferson was one of 4 Highwaymen a group of incredible Musicians know for the outlaw country subgenre of music including Johnny Cash is The Man in Black, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson.
The only Highwayman left is Willie Nelson and here is a song Willie did about the group.
I would like to thank the LORD for leaving Willie for us to enjoy his music because if something happens to him my mother in law would be devasted. Join me and lets listen to some of the Highwayman’s Music today. Or watch the movies they were in and don’t forget to tell those you love that you love them and if there close give them a hug or two because tomorrow isn’t promished.
