I know we still have a while until Thanksgiving arrives but I wanted to remind everyone as they begin to prepare for the #Holiday Thanksgiving isn’t just about turkey and pumpkin pie around here. How about in your home?

It’s about faith, family, friends, love, fun, books, food, and if you ask Charlie it’s about football. But for me it’s about making memories with our friends and family and even our pets.

And this year, we’re making our Thanksgiving: Faith, Family & Fun guide part of our seasonal ticket challenge. We’ve already been having fun with our Interactive Fall and Halloween and Chrsitmas guides, and now we’re moving into Thanksgiving. This time, we’re doing something a little different.

We’re not doing another coloring sheet for this one. Instead, we’re going on a word hunt! We’ve hidden Thanksgiving and fall words inside our big autumn leaf.

Some words are short and easy to find. Some are longer. Some are hiding a little better. That means children of different ages can enjoy the same activity, whether they’re just beginning to read or they’re ready for a bigger challenge.

And there’s one more part: After you find all the words, and color your autumn leaf! You will earn 1 Thanksgiving Activity Ticket! But remember this is also reading and if you spend ten minutes on the seek-n-find you can earn a 2 ticket.

We’re carrying this ticket challenge through four seasonal guides:

🦃 Thanksgiving — Activity + Reading = 2 tickets
🎄 Christmas — Activity + Reading = 2 tickets

Complete all four guides and you’ve earned 8 tickets. Complete Everything = 2 Bonus Tickets If you complete all four activities and all four reading challenges, you earn 2 bonus tickets.

That brings the grand total to: 10 TICKETS!

And this time we’re keeping it simple. No surprise tickets. Every ticket has a specific way to earn it. You know exactly what you need to do. Now, you just need to get busy.

I love activities that give children something to do without requiring a screen. Find the words. Color the leaf. Read a book. Spend some time together. Giving you and your family a little bit of Faith, a little bit of Family Time & and a whole lot of Family Fun.

Maybe talk about something you’re thankful for. Maybe read together. Maybe watch some football. Maybe help in the kitchen. Maybe just sit around the table and laugh.

Those ordinary little moments are often the ones we remember. And that’s what Thanksgiving: Faith, Family & Fun is all about because its what makes me Grateful. Thankful. Blessed.
