I don’t know about you but some days don’t really give you a way to sum them up, no matter how hard you try to organize them in your head. I don’t know about you but by the time evening hit, the house still didn’t feel settled—just lived in, loud in waves, and constantly moving the way family life does when nothing goes exactly as planned. Charlie is in his room. Gerald is on the couch and David is in his chair. Bradley and Charlie have been coming and going all day, conversations happening in the middle of other conversations, and plans shifting without much warning. A Quiet Hour in the Middle of Everything
After the #RoadTrip to Hobart, Oklahoma to see Charlie yesterday and getting up at 2am. I am drained and tired. David even went to bed at 5:20 so you know he is tired as well. I can’t even think this evening to decide what I need to do for work. Since the day has stacked itself in the kind of way that leaves no space between one thing and the next, and then suddenly everything hits at once instead of politely waiting its turn.
