Lunch, Laughter, and Letting Myself Off the Hook

As a mom it’s hard to take time for ourselves but I’ve been making it a point to set aside 12 to noon for lunch even if I don’t eat, I regroup and watch a t show or two. Which leads me to Lunch, Laughter, and Letting Myself Off the Hook. I get to spend time with the Dogs and sometimes Charlie or my brother. Or David if he is home. By noon, the house has shifted back into its usual rhythm.…

Tuesday Reset: I Didn’t Fail — I Rested I woke up ready to fight Monday. Except it wasn’t Monday. It was Tuesday. And I thought I’d failed. But I didn’t. I rested. And I needed it. Bottom Text (below image): Life happens. Moms carry a lot. Sometimes the body calls a timeout before the calendar does. So today isn’t about catching up. It’s about stepping back in with grace, humor, and a little holy perspective. Monday will be there next week. Today is Tuesday — and today, I’m choosing peace.
