Sometimes a Godwink Arrives in Your Inbox: Come Meet Susie and Her Daughters at Stacked by Susie

I cam honestly say if I had knew where today was going to lead I might never have gotten out of bed. But I did and I thank the LORD for opening new doors again on the website when he introduced me to Stacked By Susie a new business I wanted to share with you.

As a mom some days being a mom means smiling, praying, worrying, and trying not to let your children see just how much your heart is carrying. Today was one of those days. We’ve been going back and forth over Charlie taking his first road trip and his dad not thinking he should go.

I could understand David not wanting Charlie to go because I didn’t either but if we hadn’t let him go Charlie could have left in the middle of the night not that he would do that but its what I wanted David to think about. As a parent we have to pick our battles and letting Charlie leave was one of those battles.

This morning while Charlie was getting ready to leave on his first solo road trip. I reminded him that he was traveling approximately 400 miles away, and although I was excited for him, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. I went over the rules of the road with Charlie and I watched him pull out of the driveaway.

As a mom, I want Charlie to grow up, experience life, and spread their wings. But that doesn’t mean it’s always easy watching them pull out of the driveway and head somewhere you can’t simply jump in the car and follow. I didn’t have a car because Charlie had his and David was at work, so I couldn’t just get on the road behind him. All I could do was pray, trust, and place my boy in the Lord’s hands.

Before he left, I noticed something was missing. Charlie has worn a cross for as long as I can remember. David has worn his cross for 19 years, and faith has always been an important part of our family. But the cross that normally hung from Charlie’s necklace wasn’t there.

When I asked him about it, he explained that it wouldn’t stay attached and that it was in his room. I told him we needed to get him another cross. Then Charlie reached up toward his rearview mirror and showed me something. “Mom, this is the cross Dad gave me. It goes everywhere with me.” There it was. The cross David had given him, hanging in his car.

Then he pointed to the passenger door and said mom I am going to be okay my bible is right there. I cannot tell you how much that little moment meant to me. Here I was worrying about my son traveling so far away, and he was reminding me that he was taking something special with him.

I told him we would have to find him another cross for his necklace. Then he reminded me that my birthday was Tuesday and said we needed to get me one, too. The Charlie drove off and 10 minutes later my phone rang. Mom, how do I get gas at the pump without going inside. Knowing he trusted me to ask this question to meant a lot to me.

After Charlie left, I came inside with a lot on my mind and a whole lot of prayers in my heart. And then I opened my email. Waiting in my inbox was a message from Susie, the owner of Stacked by Susie. A business owner I had never heard of but she knew me.

Susie had enjoyed our Christmas gift guide last year and reached out to introduce herself and her family business. She shared that she creates jewelry with her three daughters and asked if we might consider including them in this year’s gift guide for moms and teens. She also offered to send a sample for us to consider for a future feature.

Now, I receive emails from businesses all the time, but there was something about this one that made me stop. First, there was the name: Stacked by Susie. Then I learned that Susie works alongside her three daughters. For anyone who has followed The Mommies Reviewws and now Greatful Moments, you know how much family means to me.

I worked alongside my daughter, Suzzane, for many, many years. We shared work, conversations, ideas, and everyday moments that I will always treasure. Today, I work alongside my son, Charlie. So when I read about a mother building a business with her daughters, I immediately connected with that part of Susie’s story.

I know how special it is to share something like that with your children. It becomes about so much more than the work itself. But I hadn’t even finished exploring her website yet. Then the name of her site is Stacked By Susie and Suzzane was also known as Suzzie to her friends.

As I started browsing Stacked by Susie, I noticed all the different jewelry designs. There were butterflies, hearts, crosses, bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings. And then I saw the Dolly Stack. This $20 set features rhinestone safety-pin earrings paired with sparkly butterfly huggies.

I smiled when I saw it because both Dolly Parton and butterflies have special meanings to me. Dolly has always been someone I associate with kindness. She has shown kindness to others in so many ways, and that is something I admire. My daughter Suzzane was also someone who lived with kindness. She had a heart for others, and those memories are something I carry with me every day.

We sometimes called her Monkey Sue. Suzzane passed away at just 16 years old in 2004. She is the only pink Angle in heaven, and she is a Butterfly flying free and because of this butterflies have become a beautiful reminder of her and the love that never goes away.

So when I came across the butterflies at Stacked by Susie, they meant something to me beyond their appearance. I also noticed butterfly necklaces and a butterfly ring. Those were pieces I wanted to explore more closely. Sometimes a piece of jewelry catches your eye because it is pretty.

Other times, it brings back a memory, reminds you of someone you love, or makes you smile for reasons nobody else might understand. That’s what happened here. Not only for me but I know these items will also capture my best friends attention because Butterfly’s remind her of her Pastor.

Remember that conversation with Charlie about his cross? Well, while browsing Susie’s website, I came across the Glitzy CZ Cross Pendant Necklace in Gold, priced at $20. And I stopped. I wanted to pick up the phone to call Charlie to check out the website but I am waiting until he gets home to share this unique company with him.

Charlie and David know I’ve wanted a cross necklace of my own for some time. My best friend once gave me one, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit my neck the way I needed it to. I’ve continued looking for one that would be comfortable for me to wear. There it was on Stacked by Susie.

A beautiful cross necklace, right after a conversation with my son about the cross he carries and the one I had been wanting. I also found myself looking at the heart necklaces because I used to collect hearts. I tend to spend so much time finding things for everyone else that sometimes I forget to look for something just for me. Maybe it’s time I changed that a little.

One thing I enjoyed discovering about Stacked by Susie was the variety of jewelry available. Susie shared that her pieces start at $8.55, making it possible to explore different styles and price points. They have things for mom’s, daughters and even game lovers. Which my mother in law would like for my step-daughter Leslie and my niece Alex.

A few pieces that caught my attention included:

  • School Spirit Earring Stacks – $20: A fun idea for high school and college students who love wearing their team colors.
  • The Dolly Stack – $20: Rhinestone safety-pin earrings paired with sparkly butterfly huggies.
  • Half Gold and Half Pearl Bracelet – $25: A pretty option for someone who enjoys a little gold and pearl together.
  • Glitzy CZ Cross Pendant Necklace in Gold – $20: One of the pieces I personally found myself drawn to.

There are also heart and butterfly jewelry designs, cowboy boot earrings, game-day pieces, bracelets, rings, and necklaces. The cowboy boot earrings especially caught my attention. After all, we’re in Texas, and a little Texas personality is always fun! Whether you’re shopping for a daughter, a mom, a friend, a student, or yourself, there are different styles to explore.

And let’s not forget that gifts aren’t just for Christmas. Birthdays, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, graduations, and those little just-because surprises are all reasons to shop for someone special. Plus, there is plenty of Stocking Stuffers on here for women and girls alike.

Now, I could tell you that I discovered a family jewelry business, found some beautiful pieces, and thought our readers might enjoy learning about it. But that would leave out the reason this email touched me so deeply. Think about the timing which was all a Godwink.

Charlie had just left on his first solo road trip. I had watched him drive away, prayed for his safety, and had that conversation about his cross. I had been reminded that the cross David gave him was traveling with him along with his Bible. Then I opened my email and found Susie’s message.

A woman named Susie. A business called Stacked by Susie. A mother working alongside her daughters. Butterflies that reminded me of Suzzane. A Dolly-inspired design that brought kindness to mind. And a cross necklace that I had been wanting for myself. It was all connected to things that were already on my heart that day. I call moments like these Godwinks. What do you call them?

They don’t necessarily change everything happening around us, but sometimes they arrive as a gentle reminder that God is present, that we are not alone, and that there can still be beautiful surprises waiting for us in the middle of an emotional day. And there was another part of Charlie’s story that I was thankful to hear.

During his trip, he did have some car trouble. Naturally, my heart was right back in my throat. But he made it safely to his destination, thank the Lord. He called me each and every time he said he would, and that meant so much. I still don’t know exactly what time he’s coming home.

Supposedly, he’s coming home, although any mom who has watched her children grow up knows that sometimes their plans and ours aren’t quite the same! For now, I’m grateful, thankful and blessed that he arrived safely and that he kept in touch. And that he reminded me I could call him at anytime.

As bad as my headache was that day, and as much as my heart was hurting and worrying, the Lord was opening new doors. I can never be more grateful, thankful, and blessed for that. This is why I wanted to introduce you to Stacked by Susie a new business I think you should check out.

This isn’t a product review. I haven’t had the opportunity to try the jewelry, and I wouldn’t want to tell you otherwise. Instead, this is an opportunity to meet a new business owner, learn about the family behind the business, and discover a shop that caught my attention for some very personal reasons.

I love discovering small businesses, especially those built around family, creativity, and the relationships that make the journey meaningful. Susie and her three daughters are creating something together, and I would love to see where their business goes. I hope we have an opportunity to work together in the future and share more about their jewelry with our readers.

In the meantime, I invite you to visit their website and see what catches your eye Visit Stacked by Susie:
https://stackedbysuzie.com/ You might find a gift for someone you love. You might discover a new favorite pair of earrings. Or you might find something you’ve been wanting for yourself.

And if you’re a mom who works alongside your children, I hope you’ll understand why that part of Susie’s story meant so much to me. Because sometimes the businesses we want to introduce aren’t just about the products they sell they are about the people behind the business.

They’re about the people behind them, the families building them, the memories they bring back, and those unexpected moments when something lands in your inbox and touches your heart. That’s why I wanted you to meet Susie and her daughters and to ask you to check out there business.
