| It’s Tuesday, and time for Science and I would like to invite you to check out the Recommended Website: WikiSky.org and Science Trek If you have used these resources what did you think of them and why? WikiSky.org Age Range: 9 and up (Grades 4 and up; children with parental supervision) WikiSky.org is to the universe what Google Earth is to the Earth — a fantastic way to explore the constellations and galaxies from the comfort of your home. WikiSky has created an extremely detailed sky map to help everybody better understand the information gathering about any space object and various phenomena connected with those space objects. When you get to the site, you can type in the name of the object you are looking for in the “Find Object” box. Or you can scroll over and click on any of the links on the right. You’ll see that object on the screen along with some text explaining more. However, we suggest you click on “Getting Started” to learn more on how to move about the site. |

When you get to the site, you’ll see the featured video, currently Geology. Then use the right hand menu to view topics such as:
