One Of My Dreams Is Growing A Local Following!

One Of My Dreams Is Growing Locally as a DFW Blogger and building a local presence that people will come to when looking for advice. So as I am out and about I am always looking for ways that can help not only me grow but others as well.

Yesterday David and I was back in the Haltom City Library and a couple weeks ago I shared a event they are hosting called a Night of Romance on Friday night. Then I found a second event called Indie Author Alliance Extravaganza.

So, I picked up the fliers as I knew I wanted to attend the event but since I love reading and working with Authors I went out on a limb and contacted all of them and now I will not only be sharing the events but there thoughts on the event. Which may or may not lead to new work in the future.

But the nice part was the Authors have all let me know they hope I will attend the event. As they would like to meet me. So you can bet I will do my best to get to both events.

So if your looking to grow your business never be afraid to think outside the box. Ask questions and don’t be afraid of getting no’s because you can only grow if the no’s come. Before you say that a no, hurts your feelings I know that is true but it make us stronger.

So what will you do today that is out of your comfort zone? As you reach out just keep telling yourself ” I think I can. I think I can. I think I can. I know I can and I will do it. I will succeed.
