National Bloody Mary Day #nationalbloodymaryday January 1st

I have a question for you. Did you know National Bloody Mary day #nationalbloodymaryday was Jan 1st? Somehow I missed sharing this day with you. Did you know Bloody Mary in one drink I’ve never tried and before you ask me about David I don’t know if he has or not. Have you tried Bloody Mary’s if so did you like them?

I thought I might surprise David and purchase the ingredients and we could make a Bloody Mary on David’s off and watch movies. Would you like to join us for a drink or two?

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt, or as needed
  • Ice Cubes, as needed
  • ¾ cup spicy Tomato-Vegetable Juice Cocktail (such as V8®)
  • 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger Vodka
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 dash Hot Pepper Sauce (like Tabasco® Sauce)
  • Salt and ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2 garlic-stuffed Green Olives, threaded onto a toothpick

Step one: Gather the ingredients you will need to make the Bloody Maker and don’t forget a cup with a lid to shake the Bloody Mary in and a glass to pour the beverage in when its ready to drink.

Step two: Pour Sea Salt onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of a glass and press into the salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Fill a cocktail shaker or glass with a lid with Ice cubes; add Vegetable Juice Cocktail, Vodka, Worcestershire Sauce, Hot Pepper Sauce, Salt, and Pepper. Cover and shake until the outside of shaker has frosted, about 20 seconds.

Step four: Strain Bloody Mary into the glass then garnish with Celery Stalk and Olives.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
