May 13 National Fruit Cocktail Day #FruitCocktailDay

I know I’m a couple days behind in sharing #Holidays with you but being sick has kicked my tail. I’m going to do my best to catch up today but if I don’t its okay because I did what I could. It wasn’t the Lords will for me to catch up.

Did you know May 13th is National Fruit Cocktail Day #FruitCocktailDay? I remember as a child preparing Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner in my mom’s moms home. My Grandma Dorie and we would always make Fruit Salad because she loved it.

I don’t eat Fruit so I haven’t made Fruit Salad since I was a teenager but David loves #Fruit and our Anniversary s coming up. I was thinking I might make a bowl of #FruitSalad for David. Before you ask what about Charlie I don’t think he will eat Fruit Salad. Would you want to join David for a bowl of Fruit Salad? Is there certain Fruit you want in the Fruit Salad or for us to leave out?

If your #Homeschooling your children think outside the box today and take them on a #FieldTrip to a Produce Stand ie Farmer’s Market of the Grocery Store to shop for the ingredients to make Fruit Salad. Then come home and let them make Fruit Salad in a Cooking Class you host.
