I’m Right Here by Michelle Grace: A Beautiful Children’s Book About a Mother’s Love

As I was straightening up the shelf I use for work this morning I wanted to share a new children’s book I received with you. The book is called I’m Right Here I was looking at the cover of the book it had me thinking of Christmas but this book doesn’t have anything to do with Christmas but it has a lot to do with nature and a mother’s love for her child which had me thinking of Suzzane and Charlie as I read the book.

As I’ve said before some books touch our heart in ways you don’t expect, and I’m Right Here by Michelle Grace is one of those books for me. From the beautiful cover to the touching words and enchanting illustrations inside, this is a story that reminds us of the special bond between a mother and her child.

I love the name Grace because grace is what I try to live by each and every day. When I discovered this book, I was immediately drawn to its title and beautiful artwork. As I began exploring the story, I found myself thinking about all the children I know and the love they have with there parents.

The first thing that caught my attention was the cover. It almost looks like a fantasy book, and the woman on the cover is absolutely beautiful. She looks almost like a goddess, wearing a long, flowing blue dress with a little boy sitting on her shoulders and pointing toward the sun.

Behind them, you can see the moon, and birds are flying through the sky. They are surrounded by a field, and if you look closely, you can spot a rabbit and even a unicorn! If my niece Lily saw the beautiful which Unicorn on the cover of the book like me she would have wanted it.

There is so much to discover in this illustration that you could spend time looking at all the little details before you even open the book. I love the dreamy feeling of the artwork and how it brings together nature, the sky, and a little bit of magic. The illustrations throughout the book are just as beautiful. They invite you to slow down, turn the pages, and really look at what the artist has created.

The book is written by Michelle Grace and illustrated by Lee Androie, I’m Right Here is a children’s book published by Brown Book Kids and I can’t wait to check out other books they have. This story falls under juvenile fiction, with themes involving family relationships, emotions, and feelings.

The story begins with the beautiful reminder of a mother speaking to her shining star. It explores how a mother’s love can travel across vast universes to find her child and how the stars can remind us of the bond between a mother and child, no matter how far apart they may be.

The author’s description calls it a heartwarming story about a mother’s love traveling across the universe to find her shining star. With enchanting illustrations and charming metaphors, it makes a lovely story to share at bedtime under the stars but this book can and should be read anytime of the day when you want to spend a little time together and share a story about love and connection. This book is also perfect for our 10 Minute Reading Challenge.

The language is approachable for young children, while the illustrations are so beautiful that older children can appreciate them, too. Sometimes a story can appeal to different ages for different reasons, and I think this is one of those books that will be kept and handed down between families.

As I read through I’m Right Here, there were several passages that stood out to me. The story talks about how a child gives a mother’s life meaning and how mother and child grow together, like shooting stars in the night sky. It describes a child as a light within a mother’s heart, shining like stardust.

One sentiment that stayed with me was the idea that a mother and child have always been together in their hearts. That made me think about Suzzane, my beautiful daughter who passed away when she was just 16 years old, and my son, Charlie and I agree with what the Author said about how a mother and child grow together.

When you become a mother, your children become part of your heart in a way that is difficult to explain until you experience it yourself. They change how you see the world, how you love, and how you think about the future. With Suzzane, I carry memories and a love that will always be part of me.

I think of her as my guardian angel and my pink angel, and butterflies remind me of her. Even though she is no longer here with me physically, she will always be my daughter. Reading a book about a mother’s love that reaches across the universe naturally brings those feelings to the surface. It reminds me that the love we have for our children does not disappear.

And when I think about Charlie, I think about how we have grown together through the years. Being a mother is a journey for both of us. We learn from our children just as they learn from us, and our experiences together become part of the story of our lives. That is one of the reasons this book captured my heart. It isn’t just about stars, the moon, or a magical universe. It is about the connection between a mother and her child, a connection that continues to mean something through every season of life.

Lee Androie illustrated I’m Right Here, and I think the artwork is a wonderful part of what makes this book so special. Lee is a Croatia-based artist, illustrator, and mother of two boys. The Author’s work is known for its pastel colors, delicate textures, and whimsical details. She draws inspiration from womanhood, motherhood, and nature, and I can see all three of those influences throughout this book.

The pictures are gentle, dreamy, and full of little details. The mother surrounded by flowers, the sky above her, and the magical elements woven throughout the illustrations help bring the story to life. I especially love how the woman appears to be sitting in a field of flowers, looking up toward the sky. There is something peaceful about that image, and it fits beautifully with the message of the story.

Children can look for the birds, animals, flowers, and other details on each page. Parents can use the illustrations to start conversations, ask questions, and let little ones share what they see. And then, near the end of the book, there is a beautiful rainbow. I loved seeing that as the story came to a close.

The illustrations make this book more than something to read once and put away. They give families a reason to return to the pages and discover something new each time. The illustrations are like pieces of art I would like to see hanging in my home but there is no, way I would want to take this book apart to do that because I know so many people I can’t wait to share the story with.

As I was reading this story, I found myself wishing I had owned it when my children were little. I can imagine sitting with Charlie and Suzzane, reading the words together and looking at all the beautiful pictures. Books can give parents and children an opportunity to talk about feelings that might otherwise be difficult to put into words.

For younger children, the story can be a gentle reminder that they are loved. For older children, it can open up conversations about family, growing up, and the special bond they share with their parents. And for mothers, the story offers a reminder of just how much our children mean to us.

I also think this book would make a thoughtful gift for a family that enjoys reading together. It could be shared at bedtime, during a quiet afternoon, or whenever a parent wants to spend a little extra time reminding a child how special they are. Although the book is described as a bedtime story, I would not limit it to that. A beautiful story about love can be enjoyed at any time of day.

I would like to introduce you to Michelle Grace the Author who is a mother and debut author living in Manhattan, New York. She discovered her love of storytelling somewhere between play and imagination, with a little magic along the way. Her stories are designed to nurture curiosity and connection in children and families, which is exactly what I felt while reading I’m Right Here.

This is Michelle’s first book, and it is dedicated to her daughter. Knowing that she dedicated this story to her own child makes the message of a mother’s love even more meaningful. It also reminded me that as a mom we can do anything we put our minds to including writing a book. I hope she takes the time to share more of her stories because she is a amazing writer.

Lee Androie is a Croatia-based artist, illustrator, and mother of two boys. Her illustrations feature pastel colors, delicate textures, and whimsical details inspired by motherhood, womanhood, and nature. Her work is an important part of what makes I’m Right Here so memorable.

The pictures help bring Michelle’s words to life, creating a beautiful world that encourages children and adults to pause and appreciate the little things. From the flowing blue dress on the cover to the flowers, animals, stars, and rainbow, the illustrations help tell the story in a way that words alone cannot.

I’ve read many books over the years, but some stories stay with you because they remind you of something important in your own life. I’m Right Here is one of those books for me. You will find this amazing book inside our Christmas Gift Guide / Wish List and I will also be asking Santa to load the sleigh with these amazing books to bring to all the good little boys and girls on his Christmas List as we load the Sleigh.

The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, the story is easy for children to follow, and the message about a mother’s love is something families can appreciate together. I love the way the book uses the stars, the universe, flowers, and a rainbow to help express feelings that are sometimes difficult to explain.

Most of all, this book made me think about Suzzane and Charlie. It reminded me that being a mother is a bond that becomes part of your heart. Our children grow, life changes, and we experience both beautiful and heartbreaking moments, but the love remains. I wish I had this book when my children were little. I can imagine how special it would have been to share these pages with them and talk about the beautiful message behind the story.

Whether you are looking for a book to read with a preschooler, a meaningful story to share with an older child, or a thoughtful gift for a family you love, I think I’m Right Here is worth considering. Sometimes, the most beautiful stories remind us of what we already know in our hearts: our children are precious, the time we spend together matters, and a mother’s love is something truly special.
