I have been wondering if Charlie is comprehending the division problems we have been working on each week. I know he is still struggling to learn his multiplication from 6 and up. So this morning I found a new website called 10Ticks that will allow Charlie to take the test and see how many problems Charlie gets right in 3 minutes. I plan on using this website each Friday for a month, so I can track Charlie progress and see if he is advancing on how many problems he gets correct each week.
Age Range: 7-13 (Grades 2-8 approximately, with parental supervision)
This United Kingdom website offers a fee-based online math program, but it provides some free sample games that give kids practice in multiplication.
When you get to the site, you’ll see three game choices:
- Underwater Pursuit – Choose a number and then find the multiple.
- Space Hunter – Answer the multiplication question before the space alien gets you.
- Drone Race – Quickly answer before the opponent drone does.
You can also take a multiplication and division math test. You have 3 minutes to answer as many questions as you can.
