Homeschool Movie Day: The Breakfast Club

On Friday Charlie and I have Free Day in our classroom. Charlie has a Art project he wants to work on and while we are drawing I plan on turning on The Breakfast Club.

The Breakfast Club is a movie I watched when I was a Teen. I can’t wait to see what Charlie thinks of The Breakfast Club. I want o see if he recognizes any of the across and actresses.

When The Breakfast Club finishes playing we’ll be able to create a Lesson plan. We can compose a spelling list from the movie including using the actors and actresses names and movies they’ve been in.

Description

Five high school students from different walks of life endure a Saturday detention under a power-hungry principal (Paul Gleason). The disparate group includes rebel John (Judd Nelson), princess Claire (Molly Ringwald), outcast Allison (Ally Sheedy), brainy Brian (Anthony Michael Hall) and Andrew (Emilio Estevez), the jock. Each has a chance to tell his or her story, making the others see them a little differently — and when the day ends they question whether school will ever be the same.
