The other night Charlie and I were watching tv when Charlie asked me if we could create Wrestling clothes for his Wrestling figures. I told Charlie that I would be willing to try as I had made Barbie clothes for Suzzane when she was little. After Charlie and I had our conversation I ended up talking to a friend of mine Thaleia Maher who reminded me that homeschool allows us to take a Sewing Class.
Thaleia reminded me Charlie could take a sewing class for Homeschool as I was preparing for back to school which I hadn’t thought of although I should have since I had taken Home Economics in school. I let Thaleia know Charlie wanted to create wrestling clothes for his wrestling figures. As we were talking she asked me if I had the material and sewing supplies we would need.
I let Thaleia know we didn’t and I would need to go shopping for material and patterns to make the clothes out of. Thaleia let me know to wait until I received the box she was sending us as she would put material inside the box Charlie could use to create his wrestling clothes with and Thaleia also let me know she would add the thread and a few other items we could use.
I was so excited I couldn’t wait to share this information with Charlie although I waited until David got home from work and then I sat down with Charlie and David and I let them know Thaleia was going to send a box of items but they would need to wait to see what all was inside it before we went shopping.
I would like to also let you know Thaleia sent us items we can use in our Garden another class Charlie will be participating in when Charlie goes back to school this year. So now I have a question for you what unusual or unique classes do your children take and why do they take them?
