First Day of Vacation For Our Family

How are you this morning? We are on Day 6 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge. So far so good as I have managed to keep up each day. Now, it could change at anytime but at least I am trying and committed to getting it done each day.

Today is the first day of our Vacation in 9 years. David is off through the 11th. This mornings prompt was to                                                               Share with your visitors a valuable lesson you learned.

I read this post I didn’t have any clue what I would write about. As I was getting ready to leave for the day God answered this post for me. I have to trust in God that things will run smoothly when I’m gone. I need to set aside time for my family. Where I walk away from the blog. I don’t have to take business cards, a computer, tablet and phone.

This blog will be here tomorrow but my family might not be. For the first time in 9 years I left everything at home and I am just going to have fun with my son.

Because one day Charlie will be grown and not want to spend time with me. I need to create memories when I can. Today we are off to the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum.

Even though I might be bored out of my mind I plan on going and somehow someway I plan on having fun and making memories with Charlie who loves wrestling and this is a one of a kind trip for us.

Yes, it does and we are and today was a day I would never imagine in a thousand years. I can’t wait to share the Blessings we received today.

So true! Enjoy your vacation and cherish the memories you are making together. When our kids are little we tend to think of the future when they are old enough to do something, or big enough to ride the big rides at the amusement park. Believe me, they will get there sooner than you think and then you wish you could put that genie back into the bottle, but it is too late. Take what time you have and run with it!

I agree with you time flies by and I am going to make it a point once a week from here on out to do a Day trip somewhere even if its to a park
