Every family is different and that is what makes the world unique. My family has always celebrated #Halloween but now with Charlie becoming older he has decided he isn’t going to celebrate Halloween anymore.

That is fine because he is his own person. Just like my friend Debbie who used to take her daughter to Harvest Festivals but she wouldn’t celebrate Halloween with her family. Since my family wants this everyone can pull up a chair and be comfortable visiting were changing thins up this year.

Because Fall is more than Halloween. It is sweater weather, warm meals, pumpkins, bonfires, changing leaves, football, cozy nights, harvest festivals, local events, family activities, baking, decorating and all those little things that make this time of year feel special.

That is why this year at Greatful Moments, we’re adding something new: our 2026 Fall Gift Guide. We already have our Halloween Gift Guide, and that guide will continue to be all about Halloween. We’ve announced it, we’ve created its printables, and we’ve already been adding items and opportunities to it.

Our Fall Gift Guide is different. This one is about fall itself. Fall Is for Everyone When Suzzane and Charlie were little, Halloween was a much bigger part of our fall. Both my childnre enjoyed Halloween, but he has grown up. Halloween isn’t really his thing anymore.

And my best friend Debbie is another reminder that not everyone experiences fall through Halloween. But that doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy fall. You can love sweater weather without loving Halloween.

You can enjoy a bonfire, a bowl of chili, an apple dessert or a harvest festival without dressing up in a costume. You can enjoy going to a local fall event, visiting a pumpkin patch, watching football, decorating your home, making something in the kitchen or simply sitting outside on your front porch on a cool evening. That’s the fall we want to celebrate.

Throughout the season, we’ll be sharing ideas for things to do, make, eat, give and enjoy. We’ll be looking at fall foods and recipes, cozy sweaters and other fall favorites, bonfires and fire-pit nights, fall decorating, crafts, family activities, harvest festivals, pumpkin patches, local events and places to go.

We’ll also share fall gift ideas. Some will be things you can purchase, but many of our ideas will be about using what you already have, making something yourself or creating an experience instead of buying another item.

And as Thanksgiving and the harvest season get closer, we’ll naturally move into those parts of fall, too. This isn’t going to be a gift guide that you simply read and forget. We’re inviting you to participate with us.

New Fall Gift Guide content will appear every Monday and Wednesday. Some Mondays and Wednesdays may bring a craft. Another may bring a recipe. Another may feature a fall event or activity.

We may have a gift idea, a printable, a family challenge, a decorating idea or something completely unexpected. You can participate in all of them or choose only the ones that sound like fun for your family. There are no rules about how you have to enjoy fall.

One thing we’re going to keep reminding everyone throughout this guide is: When doing the activities we ask you to do don’t buy something just because we tell you about it. Check your house first.

Look in the pantry. Look in your craft supplies. Look in your holiday storage. Look in the closets. Look at the things you’ve saved because you thought you might use them someday. You may already have exactly what you need.

Ask your friends and family if they had the items your looking for. Then check Free groups on Facebook and Homeschool Groups because they may have extra craft supplies lying around. You may already have exactly what you need.

Our goal isn’t to make you spend money. Our goal is to give you ideas. Sometimes the best fall activity starts with something sitting in a cabinet or closet that you completely forgot you had.

To help you follow along, we’ve created three printables for the beginning of our Fall Gift Guide. You’ll be able to print your 2026 Fall Gift Guide Calendar and keep up with our Monday and Wednesday activities.

You’ll have a Fall Gift Guide Ticket that makes you officially part of our fall adventure. For every project your children and yes, you to participate in your will receive a ticket and at the end of the challenge depending on how many tickets your children collect they will win a prize you provide.

The prize doesn’t have to cost money it can be one on one time with mom. Or make cookies with mom. Or the child gets to pick the movie and create a snack for Family Movie Night. If they read for 30 minutes each day for our 30 Minute Reading Challenge they can earn a bonus ticket each day.

And you’ll have a Fall Gift Guide Supply Checklist to help you see what you already have at home before you head to the store. Then we’ll get started with our first activity. And we’re starting with something simple.

Something you may already have everything you need to make. Our first Fall Gift Guide activity will be a Fall Treat Jar. So grab your calendar, print your ticket, check your closets and cabinets, and get ready.

We’re going to enjoy fall together. Because fall isn’t just Halloween. It’s a whole season filled with opportunities to make memories. While spending time with those you love so make sure you invite your friends and family. Remember if your #Homeschooling these Guides can be used in your classes.
