I remember as a child my grandmother having a kit of Avon products and inside it was tiny little tubes of Lipstick for people to samples. If you haven’t experienced Avon in a while I wanted to let you know Avon isn’t what you remember from back in the day.

For me there are some things that bring back memories the minute you see them. For me, Avon is one of those things.
Growing up, Avon was part of our family. My grandmother Dorie sold Avon. My mother sold Avon. Eventually, Suzzane and I sold Avon, too. My best friend Debbie was also part of those Avon-selling days. Not only that my sister Debbie and her ex-husband Greg also sold Avon. That’s five generations of family memories connected to Avon, along with a friendship that became part of the story.
I remember the little tubes of lipstick, the fragrance samples, and those little hand lotions and soaps that seemed to show up everywhere around Christmas. I remember wearing Odyssey and Musk fragrances. I remember how exciting it was to look through an Avon brochure and discover something new.
But let me tell you something: today’s Avon is not just the Avon I remember growing up with! While looking through the current Christmas collection, I found myself saying, “Oh my goodness, look at that!” more than once. And that’s why I want to introduce you to LouAnn Albright, a DFW-area Avon representative, and invite you to discover what Avon has to offer this Christmas.

One thing I wanted to point out to you is Avon is much more than Beauty Products including a Christmas collection I can’t wait to purchase to use in my home.
Here is something I wanted to share with you Avon has much more than perfume and makeup. There are Christmas decorations, home gifts, clothing, jewelry, accessories, and plenty of fun little surprises. Including a line of watches for men and jewelry for the children in our lived,
Here are some of the things that caught my attention.
Christmas Gifts for the Home- I spotted some adorable Christmas snowmen, Santa plates and cups, a cake plate, and even a doggy Christmas ornament Charlie and David would love. Anyone who knows me knows that I am always looking for something special to add to our Christmas traditions.
I love finding little things that make a house feel like Christmas, especially when they can become part of the memories we make with family. They even had Christmas Clothing and Cozy Gifts including PJs and house shoes for women which I wish I had for myself. There is also a red sweatshirt that says “Believe.” Now, that’s something I can get behind! Of course I believe. Do you?
I also spotted a beautiful Christmas sweater and other festive clothing and accessories that would make fun Christmas gifts.
Christmas Jewelry and Meaningful Gifts and I must tell you Avon has some pretty jewelry options, too including personalized jewelry, colorful rings, watches, necklaces, angel wings, and crosses.
The angel wing necklace caught my eye, and I have been wanting a cross necklace. Sometimes the best Christmas gifts aren’t necessarily the biggest ones. They’re the ones that have a little meaning behind them. There are also men’s watches, which caught my attention because Charlie has been wanting a new watch for Christmas.
So, yes, I was already making a mental Christmas shopping list! Including Christmas Gifts for Him: which you will find inside Our Men’s Gift Guide since we are including LouAnn in our Greatful Moments Christmas Gift Guide/ Wish List, I wanted to see what Avon offers for the men in our lives.
There are fragrance options, grooming and personal care products, and gift sets worth exploring. If you have a husband, father, son, brother, or grandfather who enjoys smelling good and taking care of himself, don’t overlook Avon. And don’t forget the practical gifts. Sometimes a nice fragrance, grooming set, or everyday personal care item is exactly what someone wants. David and Charlie both have their own interests, so I always enjoy looking for gifts that fit their personalities rather than purchasing something just because it happens to be Christmas.

At the time of our visit, the website was displaying Campaign 22, along with special offers and its holiday shopping selections. You can also visit the Avon blog for additional beauty and shopping inspiration. Here is a fun fact I remember from back in the day. Friends and neighbors would get together, look through the brochures, try products, and enjoy a little shopping. Wouldn’t it be fun to host a Avon party? I would love to see those days make a comeback!
Avon’s current online shopping experience makes it possible to browse and shop digitally, but I am curious whether traditional in-home parties, virtual parties, or group shopping events are still available through local representatives. That’s something I hope to explore with LouAnn.

Sometimes the best discoveries bring back old Memories which Avon did when I started looking through the website because I wanted to find Christmas gifts for the men in our family. I ended up remembering my grandmother, my mother, Suzzane, Debbie, and those days when Avon was part of our lives.
I also discovered a company that has expanded far beyond the little brochures I remember.
