It’s Saturday, and time for Art in our classroom and I would like to ask you to check out the Recommended Website: Artsology. If you have used : Artsology what did you think of it and why?
Age Range: 5-18 (Grades K-12, with parental supervision) Artsology was created by a musician to expose kids to a variety of art, music and culture in order to open their minds to different thoughts and ideas. The website offers free online games about the arts, along with investigations into visual arts and music.
When you get to the website you’ll see some featured games, investigations, and printables. Use the menu at the top of the screen to explore the site that includes:
- Art Games: Play online games and learn about major figures in art.
- ArtsEd Resources: Art Investigations and more – Enjoy simple yet informative activities that will expand your knowledge of the arts.
- Art Videos – Watch Pablo Picasso draw and an introduction to snow globe art.
- And more!
Artsology is a fantastic resource for fun learning about the arts for people of all ages! We were only able to review some of the games and activities on the site, so parents, as always, should preview and supervise use of the website.
