ActiLingua Academy – Learn German
Age Range: 13-18 (Grades 8-12, with parental supervision) Learn basic German grammar, verb forms, and syntax with the help of the lessons provided at this ad-supported website. While this website appears to geared towards adults, it does provide a good place for students to hone in on their basic German language skills.
When arriving at the website choose from either the beginner or advanced lessons.
The 10 beginner lessons provide general information and practice in basic verb forms and an introduction to German syntax. Each lesson includes online practice with feedback as to the correct selection. The lessons can be printed out for use offline. Example sentences help the learner to understand proper use of the concept being covered. Also included are wordlists available to print out for additional study. The advanced lessons provide a more in-depth study of prepositions, pronouns, and syntax.
Please note that the first few lessons are freely available, but to access the remaining lessons you will need to register for free.
If your student is looking for some refreshing of their German language skills, this site can provide that.
