A HALLOWEEN BOO BASKET FOR THE GUYS… AND MOM GETS THE NIGHT OFF!

No, matter how old Charlie gets he is still my little boy and no, matter what #Holiday we may be celebrating I always try to get Charlie something and if I have extra money David and the dogs something to. The past couple weeks I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what to get Charlie and David for Halloween.

Then this morning I knew the LORD had been listening because I received a email from Dutch Bros. and even though I still like to get them chocolate, I also wanted to get them something fun they would not be expecting to let them know I was thinking about them. You will find these Halloween Baskets inside our Interactive Halloween Gift Guide.

But there’s one little problem. Charlie swears off sweets at least once a month. Does he stick to it? Nope! But that doesn’t stop him from making the announcement. Since Coffee is something both Charlie and David enjoy and wouldn’t fight over I can purchase a Halloween Boo Basket from Dutch Bros, and get each of them a Gift Card to order there own Coffee with. Along with a Halloween Card and a Gift Card to Wing Stop for dinner.

Because the basket doesn’t come with anything inside it. But you know what? That’s okay, because sometimes the best gift ideas are the ones we put together ourselves.

Here’s what I’m thinking!

🎃 Get the Halloween Boo Basket.

☕ Stop by Dollar Tree and find each guy a fun Halloween coffee mug.

🍫 Fill the mugs with their favorite snacks and a few treats.

💳 Add a Dutch Bros gift card so they can grab a favorite drink.

🍔 Include a gift card to Wing Stop or maybe a movie gift card, so they can plan a little night out together.

And just like that, what started as an empty Halloween bucket becomes something much more special!

I’m thinking a true Guys’ Night Halloween for Charlie and David. They can enjoy their treats, grab something good to eat, catch a movie, and spend some time together. And what does Mom get to do? Stay home, put her feet up, and enjoy a little quiet time! Somebody pass me Sweet tea.

LOL Although, as Charlie is going out the door I can hear him saying what mom aren’t you coming and more times than not I would so I better get me a gift card to. I love the idea of giving the guys something that isn’t just another thing to put on a shelf. It’s a chance to enjoy time together and make a memory with or without me.

Because whether our children are little or grown, we’re still their mamas and our husbands take care of us so they need a treat as well.. And sometimes the simplest gifts are the ones that say, “I was thinking about you.” Now tell me, y’all…

If you were putting together a Halloween Boo Basket for the men in your family, what would you include? Coffee? Chocolate? Movie tickets? Their favorite snacks? Let’s share some ideas and help each other make Halloween fun for our families, no matter how old our kids get!

Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed.
