I don’t know about where you live but there are times, were driving down the Street and I will see a Shopping Cart sitting on the side of the Road and if I see this in the Future since a shopping cart will not fit into my car, I’m going to call the store the shopping cart belongs to and let them know. February is Return Shopping Carts to the Supermarket Month. Did you know millions of shopping carts are taken from Grocery Stores each year? This can cost shop owners tons of money. I would like to ask you to do them a favor by returning shopping carts if you find any.
Most of us at one time and even “most grocery stores have seen a forlorn shopping cart miles away from the store, complemented by a shrinking supply of carts. Often, stores count their losses and move on, knowing a missing cart here and there is expected, but perhaps that trend will reverse this month. People will actually return stranded carts they’ve taken or found about town.
This Holiday not only Shopping Carts but also includes milk crates and bread trays, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.”
