Texas Christkindl Market
Celebrated during the four weeks of advent in Europe, the Christkindl market is a traditional Christmas market that originated in the middle ages in German-speaking Europe.
The relationship between Arlington and its sister city, Bad Königshofen, inspired by the Texas Christkindl Market to commemorate its first magical season in 2011.
With several markets all over Europe for the holidays, the Texas Christkindl Market also works with its partner Christmas city, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, to bring the same wonderful magic and feeling to Texas.
Kellie Rasberry from Kiss 106.1 and her daughter Emma Kelly will be at the market and will be making a Gingerbread House on Saturday, Dec. 5 that’s great as well.
