Hello, and happy Friday! Mission control, it’s almost time! Blast off into the sky with your very own jetpack.   

Later today, Nashville-based artist Roger Day offers something that will get kids soaring. His new music video “Me and My Jet Pack” will launch this afternoon at 1800 hours (Central Time) — that’s 7 pm  ET/ 6 pm  CT/ 4 pm PT to we Earthlings.

In the video, various families are shown making their own home-made jet packs and zooming around. These scenes are interspersed with those showing astronauts and rockets.

Roger invites his fans of all ages to create their own jet packs and share them on social media. So, grab some duct tape, rubber bands, a cardboard box, and your imagination as you take flight like an astronaut into the atmosphere.
